Original replacement 48V 20Ah lithium-ion battery for the FavoriteBikes StormX fat-tire electric bike. Same battery that comes with your bike — direct drop-in replacement. UL 2271 certified for safety.

⚠️ This battery is specifically for the StormX model. For Hybrid CSC, Hybrid, or Hybrid Pro batteries, see our Hybrid Series Battery.
When to Replace
- Range has dropped significantly (less than 50% of original)
- Battery no longer holds a charge
- Battery takes much longer to charge than normal
- Battery shuts off unexpectedly during rides
- BMS error — display shows battery error code
- Physical damage to the battery casing
Battery Care Tips
- Storage: Store at 50-60% charge in a cool, dry place
- Temperature: Avoid charging below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F)
- Longevity: For daily use, charge between 20%-80% to extend battery life
- Winter: Bring the battery indoors in cold weather — cold reduces capacity temporarily
- Expected lifespan: 800-1000 charge cycles (3-5 years with regular use)

Installation
The battery slides into the frame mount and locks with the included key. No tools required. Simply:
- Turn off the bike
- Insert the new battery into the frame mount
- Push down until it clicks into place
- Lock with the key
- Turn on the bike and verify the display shows full charge
