Compare FavoriteBikes e-bikes — FAQ

Which FavoriteBikes e-bike has the longest range?

Among the models with a published range, the Hybrid CSC is rated up to 96 km / 60 miles, and the Hybrid Pro up to 50 miles, ahead of the Hybrid at up to 40 miles. For the StormX, see its product page for full specifications. Real-world range varies with assist level, terrain, rider weight, weather and tire pressure.

Which FavoriteBikes e-bike is easiest to step through?

The Hybrid CSC uses a dedicated low step-through frame, making it the easiest to mount and dismount at frequent stops. The Hybrid and Hybrid Pro are also available in a step-through (ST) frame in addition to the crossover (XR) frame, so you can choose a low step-over on those models too.

What is the difference between the Hybrid and Hybrid Pro?

The Hybrid Pro upgrades the motor from 500W to a 750W torque-sensor motor, grows the battery from 10.4 Ah to 14 Ah (672 Wh), swaps mechanical disc brakes for Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, adds an 8-speed drivetrain, and moves to an air-suspension fork with wider 2.4" tires. The Hybrid keeps the most approachable price.

Which FavoriteBikes e-bike is best for hills or off-road?

For off-road, snow, sand and gravel, the StormX is the all-terrain choice, with 26" × 4.0" fat tires, hydraulic suspension and hydraulic disc brakes. For hilly paved routes, the Hybrid Pro adds torque-sensing assist and hydraulic brakes over the standard Hybrid. Check each product page for full specifications.

Which models are sold through Costco Canada?

The Hybrid CSC and the StormX are offered through Costco Canada as well as directly from FavoriteBikes. Costco sets the price, delivery and availability shown on Costco.ca; direct orders use the current price on the product page. FavoriteBikes provides manuals, parts and warranty support for both purchase paths.

What warranty comes with FavoriteBikes electric bikes?

The Hybrid and Hybrid Pro include a 2-year limited warranty with 8-year parts support. The Hybrid CSC includes a 2-year comprehensive warranty. The StormX includes a 5-year frame warranty with 2-year electrical coverage. Review current terms on the warranty page and each product page before purchase.
